Hey there, Matt Cutler here from Blocknative.Giving you a quick walk through of ourplatform.
As you can see, the Blocknative platformsits on top of the ethereum mempool. We operate a global infrastructurethat snapshots the mempoolmultiple times per second and makes all changesto transaction states available via ournotify API which we thenpackage up into a developer friendly framework called thenotify SDK.
And finally we offer rich frontend componentscalled notify JS for notifications and onboard JSfor onboarding users to wallets and configuring themcorrectly.
I'm going to give you aquick demo of onboard JS and notify JSin action. And I'm going to do so viathe MakerDAO CDP portal which wehave ported... You will see this here, CDP.Blocknative.comas it is publicly accessible.
It looks verysimilar to the regular one. But over here we have a selectwallet portal rather than a whole seriesof buttons which you normally see.
When you clickselect wallet, what you'll see is this modal. Thisis onboard.js and there are a couple of interesting thingsabout this.
First off the look and feel is totally customizable.Second,the developer can select which wallets they want to appear herein which order. And also which ones are primaryand secondary.
So if I hit show more,I'll see additional options down here. And also ifwe want to provide the user with a bit of a description, that's thereas well.
This is all controlled by onboard.js
For today's demo I'm going to go ahead and selectMetamask and you'll see login authorize yourwallet. This is onboard JS modal showingthat. I'm going to go ahead and login to myMetamask and connect.
And right away onboard.jsdetects that my wallet is configured and ready to go andlet's me in.
For instance if I weregoing to go up here to my Metamaskand switch networks, you'll see rightaway onboard.js detects that and says you've got to go ahead and switch yournetwork.
Interestingly and this is onlyunique to onboard JS, we enable switchingwallet on the fly. So if I wanted to go back and select a different wallet I could do sohere. But again let's go toMetamask and let's go ahead and the whole point of it is ithelps the user make the right decisions withoutgetting in the way.
NowI'll show you notify JS in action very quicklyhere. I'll go ahead and select create aCDP and we are going tocreate thisat .006ETH and we'll go ahead and generatesome DAI out of this. Let's generate 50 cents and go ahead andcollateralize.
Watchdown here. As soon as I hit finalize and createCDP, you'll see your transaction is waiting for you to confirm.This is a little notification powered by notifyJS. Again customizable look and feel and langauge and where it appears on thescreen.
If Iwere to reject that, you'll see the notification here and the notification todraw the I.
Again if I were to go ahead and finalize[inaudible] themselves very quicklyand I go ahead and confirm.
Itwas approved and now it ispending.
You will see the language here is customizedto the underlying dApp. It's a transaction tocreate a CDP out of a positive amount and generate acertain amount as well.
What we aredoing on the backend, our platform is monitoringthe mempool for this transaction.And you can see green check, you are ingood shape.
Now what will happen is once the underlyingdApp picks that up, the UI is reflected.
